I just want to say thanks to all bands who share music freely on the web (and principally on bandcamp, the best site for discovering great talents) and those who allowed me to post  their work here.
Hope that the most bands will follow this path, this is how it must be, this is how i see music.

Support artists, listen to them, talking with them, and buy physical copy or make a donation.

DELUSIONS - The language barrier [2011]

Amidst most bands in their respective genre these days, melody and harmony seems to be a key element to the attention sustained by any desired audience or wealth of fans. Delusions, despite any premeditated first impression, carry this desired weight with each song they present - no matter how heavy, or how dark. Producer Drew Fulk exemplified this in their highly anticipated debut record for 2011, "The Language Barrier," to be released through Tragic Hero Records. This release packs 10 crushing songs, each supplied with their own unique groove, texture, and low-tuned striations similar to the likes of For The Fallen Dreams, Meshugghah, and Misery SIgnals.
There is a also a noticeable sense of comforting ambiance in each song, characterized to the writing styles of Oceana (prior years) and Of Machines. Vocalist Trevor Gildbride maintains a charisma that will allow fans to separate him from any other multitude of competitive vocalists, taking into additional consideration the raw, distinct tonality of his voice that surely leaves a "memorable kick" to back of one's head.

Mass Culture, formed in 2011, is composed from four individuals, coming from Tripolis-Sparti-Athens, Greece.
Each member has had its own musical path and identity, but having common components and a wide appreciation for the music of bands such as Isis, Neurosis, Cult of Luna, they decided to start up a band somewhere along those lines.
They started, however, experimenting and incorporating further elements into their music, varying from the post-hardcore outfits of Time to Burn and Buried Inside, to the doomy sound of Yob, with a Fall of Efrafa/ Downfall of Gaia dark neocrust feel, retaining the ambient/post-metal Omega Massif-like sound and, of course, many more.

RAPHAEL DE STEFANO [ARTIST]

Raphael De Stefano, guitariste fusion et métal progressif, a commencé la guitare à l'âge de 14 ans, et a suivi un cursus au sein du Centre de Formation des Professionnels de la Musique et de la Music Academy International, il ressort avec la mention spéciale et titre de meilleur espoir.


Depuis, il s'investit pleinement dans la pédagogie, avec des interventions entre autres pour le magazine "Guitare Xtreme", des masterclass qu'il réalise régulièrement au sein du CFPM Lyon, et "imusic-school.com" pour qui il joue au Salon de la musique de Paris 2010.


Ses influences : John Petrucci, Guthrie Govan, Joe Satriani, Greg Howe, Allan Holdsworth, Textures, Dream Theater, Periphery et bien d'autres


Parallèlement à sa démarche pédagogique, Raphael travaille à la composition et l'enregistrement d'albums sur plusieurs projets à venir. Raphael est endorsé par les guitares Marceau et les médiators DAVA.

Raphael De Stefano is a fusion and progressive metal guitarist. He started to play guitar at the age of 14, followed a course of studies at the CFPM and the International Music Academy and graduated with a special honours as promising player.


Since then, he has become fully involved in educational tutoring, with several interventions such as for the magazine Guitar Xtreme. He regularly runs master classes at the CFPM Lyon, the iMusic-school for whom he played at the Salon de la musique de paris in 2010.


His influences are John Petrucci, Guthrie Govan, Joe Satriani, Greg Howe, Allan Holdsworth, Textures, Dream Theater, Periphery and many more.


Alongside his teaching, Raphael is working on writing and recording an album as well as several upcoming projects. Raphael is endorsed by the guitar brand Marceau and the DAVA picks.
